About Annua Signature Hotels
Annua Signature Hotels: boutique hotels in Mallorca, Menorca and Lanzarote
Annua Signature Hotels is a collection of luxury boutique hotels spread across Mallorca, Menorca and Lanzarote, with a project in Comporta (Portugal) under development. The proposal is built around four island and coastal destinations, each with its own character, and a central idea that the company sums up as "the luxury of having time". Each property is conceived from the place where it is located: historic houses, contemporary design, local gastronomy and personalized service.
The hotels in the collection
The collection brings together properties with their own identity, from historic estates to restored manor houses. The website presents them individually:
- Gran Hotel Margalida (Banyalbufar, Mallorca): a hidden hotel atop the historic terraces of Banyalbufar, with rooms facing the Mediterranean. It has a gym designed to maintain strength, cardio, mobility and recovery routines during your stay.
- Son Xotano (Mallorca): a historic estate in the center of the island, with 22 rooms, gardens, a pool and a gastronomic offering integrated into the life of the island. It is about 25 minutes from Palma airport (26.3 km).
- Amagatay (Menorca): a former 19th-century agricultural estate, with twenty rooms, set among olive trees and dry-stone walls. Its name means "hiding place" in Menorcan. It is fifteen minutes from the airport, sixteen from Mahón and a little over half an hour from Ciutadella.
- Morvedra Nou (Menorca): a 17th-century estate near Ciutadella, with more than 70 hectares, 26 suites and a social life that moves from the table to the sunset hill. It is ten minutes from Ciutadella and forty-five from the airport.
- César Lanzarote (Lanzarote): a historic house of 20 rooms among volcanoes and vineyards, where the island is perceived through the light, the table and the views.
- Seara Comporta (Comporta, Portugal): a 26-suite retreat in the heart of Comporta, with refined interiors, private terraces and attentive, discreet service. The project is presented as the next chapter of Annua.
Weddings, private events and productions
Annua Signature Hotels markets its spaces for weddings, brand productions, corporate retreats and private celebrations. The company offers interested parties the possibility of describing their project so that the team can propose the right setting. The website devotes several articles to weddings held at its estates: Son Xotano, Morvedra Nou, Amagatay and Gran Hotel Margalida appear as venues for ceremonies and celebrations, with proposals that the company describes as far removed from the most predictable formats.
Wellbeing and gastronomy
Wellbeing is presented as a cross-cutting line of the collection, linked to the natural surroundings of the islands and to outdoor activities. Local gastronomy and dining experiences occupy a central place in the description of several hotels, especially at Amagatay, where long lunches, Sunday gatherings around the fire and sunset get-togethers are mentioned, and at Son Xotano, where the gastronomic offering is integrated into the daily life of the estate.
Recognition and editorial presence
The website includes a MICHELIN Key 2026 distinction and mentions in media such as Condé Nast Traveler, The Times and Travel+Leisure, which the company cites in relation to Son Xotano. These references appear attributed to the corresponding publications.
Editorial and destination content
Annua maintains a blog, The Annua Journal, with articles about the destinations where it operates and about topics related to its proposal: hotel training routines, heat and cold recovery, luxury event trends for 2026, the total solar eclipse of 12 August in Mallorca, guides to Banyalbufar and to Menorca in May, outdoor wellbeing in the Balearic Islands and art and architecture routes in Mallorca.
