Early Childhood Development and Support

Capivo is a Catalan cooperative founded by professionals specializing in early childhood development. With more than 40 years of experience, it provides biopsychosocial care for children, their families, and their communities through an interdisciplinary, community-based model.

Core Services

• CDIAP (Child Development and Early Intervention Center): Prevention and screening, assessment, and therapeutic support for children with developmental disorders or at risk of them, in collaboration with families and the local network of professionals and services.
• Training and guidance: Training for early-childhood professionals and teams, as well as discussion groups for families and parenting-support groups.
• Research and teaching: Training, education, and research to improve care.

Locations

The cooperative operates two early-intervention centers, CDIAP Granollers and CDIAP Caldes, across four service locations:

Activity Figures

According to the published figures, the cooperative had 50 professionals and served 1,889 children in 2024. The staff count rose to 52 in 2025.
