About Restaurante Jardines Alberto

Jardines Alberto occupies a nineteenth-century Granada carmen at 1 Paseo de la Sabika, beside the Alhambra ticket offices and the Generalife entrance. Three terraces look towards the walls, allowing lunch to extend the heritage visit before the walk back down to the centre. The business dates its conversion to a restaurant to 1985, following years as an entertainment venue and flamenco tablao. That past does not replace the present offer: an air-conditioned dining room and garden terraces for people finishing a long morning among palaces and paths.

The menu combines Andalusian Mediterranean cooking with dishes inspired by the Nasrid tradition. Its location makes a meal convenient on leaving the Generalife area; C30 and C32 buses to the city centre stop nearby. Hours change with the season: from 15 October to the end of March the restaurant closes at 18:00 and the kitchen at 17:00; on some summer days it remains open into the evening. This matters if your Nasrid Palaces admission is late. The website gives +34 958 221 661 for reservations, and a terrace table is worth confirming.

Many diners praise the garden, service and dishes such as Nasrid-style chicken. Others find the bill high for a meal by the monument or describe waits at busy times. Both accounts help with the decision: paying to sit beside the Alhambra may be worthwhile on a tight itinerary, but proximity does not guarantee a quick meal. Travellers willing to walk towards the Realejo and linger over a seasonal menu have a different option at Carmen de San Miguel.
