Lifelong support and meaningful employment

Grup Fundació Ramon Noguera is a Girona-based social-services organization that has worked since 1965 to improve the lives of people with intellectual disabilities and their families. It combines direct support with a network of public-facing businesses and services for employers that create jobs for people with disabilities.

Services for individuals and families

The foundation supports people with intellectual disabilities at every stage of life. Services for children include prevention, screening, and early intervention for developmental conditions. Adult services include occupational therapy, residential care, day centers, and support for independence at home. The foundation also offers career guidance, training, and employment services, along with private family-support services.

Services for businesses

The foundation offers businesses value-added services that support the employment inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. These include:

Public-facing businesses

The foundation operates several businesses open to the public, employing people with disabilities:

• Car wash in Girona: exterior washes with different finishes and hand-cleaned interiors.
• Truck wash: service for trucks, trailers, buses, and RVs, with two automated high-pressure wash bays.
• La Bugaderia: full-service laundry for businesses and individuals, including washing, sanitizing, drying, and ironing workwear, hospitality linens, and household laundry.
• Onyar Showroom: a space showcasing Aliments Onyar's organic-food project, with events, tours, workshops, displays, and organic products for sale.
• Restaurante La Rosaleda · Jardí Degustació: in Girona's Devesa gardens, serving fresh Mediterranean-inspired food made with seasonal ingredients, along with breakfast, lunch, vermouth, and tapas.
• Bar Taller Degustació: a café serving breakfast, afternoon snacks, and healthy meal options, with takeout available.

In-house brands

• Aliments Onyar: artisanal, locally sourced products for people who enjoy healthy, organic food.
• La Singular: a conventional pizza brand that supports employment inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities.
• Joies: jewelry designed around its makers' abilities, using materials such as ceramic, brass, volcanic pieces, and pearls, with sterling-silver or gold-plated silver finishes.
