Supporting young people's potential

Fundación Princesa de Girona is a Spanish foundation dedicated to nurturing young people's talent and helping them develop their potential. It combines public recognition through the Princess of Girona Awards with free training, mentoring, and career-support programs designed to strengthen young people's employability and professional growth.

Awards and honors

The foundation presents its annual Princess of Girona Awards in several categories, recognizing young people with achievements in their fields:

Training and career programs

The foundation offers a range of free programs for young people, including:

• Generación Talento: mentoring with professionals from 80 of Spain's largest companies and online courses focused on in-demand workplace skills. For young adults ages 20 to 30.
• Generación Docentes: training in innovation and entrepreneurship methods for students pursuing early childhood or elementary education degrees at Spanish universities.
• Generación Propósito: for young people looking to launch social-impact projects in areas such as sustainability, equal opportunity, education, and culture.
• Generación Arte: for emerging artists, with training in key skills, meetings with industry experts, and a focus on emotional education through music.
• Generación Pro(f)e: professional development for teachers, including guidance to create a personal development plan and strengthen educational leadership.
• Generación Premiados: talks and resources led by young award recipients.
• GiTalent: a program for young people in Girona, with mentoring, a master's degree in artificial intelligence, attendance at Mobile World Congress, and leadership and entrepreneurship camps.
• Preparados, listos… ¡IA!: a free course taught by Founderz and Microsoft on using artificial intelligence and writing effective prompts.
• AmplificARTE: an educational project that uses music across disciplines to support young people's personal development and emotional well-being.
• STEAMing: encourages interest in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics, with particular attention to aviation and gender equality.

Scholarships and financial aid

The foundation helps young people access advanced education through scholarships and financial aid offered with institutions such as Esade, IESE, IE University, IQS, UIC, Founderz, and Grupo Planeta's training centers, including master's and postgraduate programs.

Other initiatives

• Tour del Talent: a traveling series of workshops, talks, concerts, and discussions led by young people in cities across Spain.
• Princess of Girona Observatory: a digital resource compiling studies and reports on trends and needs among young people.
• Special intervention plan for young people in Valencia: an initiative focused on improving conditions for young people in Valencia through programs, experts, and businesses.
• Princess of Girona INSPIRA Sessions: events with award recipients exploring their career paths and achievements.
