Outdoor education in Girona

Agrupament Escolta Pare Claret (AEiG Pare Claret) is a Girona scout group affiliated with Minyons Escoltes i Guies Sant Jordi de Catalunya (MEGSJC), in the Girona district. It focuses on outdoor education for children and young people through outings, camps, and group activities.

Activities and sections

The group organizes outings and gatherings throughout the year. Its sections include Castors, Llúdrigues, and Llops i Daines, and they also take part in activities together. Outings often take place in natural areas around Girona province, including Sant Mer, Sant Grau, Bescanó, Can Torra in la Cellera, and Santa Eugènia d'Agullana.

The group also joins community initiatives, such as the fourth Marxa Solidària de Palau organized by ACAPS Girona, and local traditions such as the Sant Jordi celebration.

The group posts information about preregistration for Girona scout programs; past application deadlines have included June 20. It asks people to get in touch by email in advance about overnight stays or use of its facilities. The group also offers small huts for rent. Email: superkapos@gmail.com.
