De Blas Estudio de Arte

What De Blas Estudio de Arte is

De Blas Estudio de Arte is a creative space for children and adults at Calle Daoiz 32 in Getafe, beside the university. Practical activities are used to develop artistic skills together with concentration, logic and creative confidence.

Workshops

The program brings several art forms into the studio:

• Drawing and painting: composition, perspective, volume, color and painting styles, with attention to patience and concentration
• Calligraphy and lettering: hand-drawn letterforms, line control and personal expression
• Photography: framing, light and analysis of images in a digital environment
• Stop-motion: an introduction to cinematic language, movement and editing through photography
• Crafts: toys and accessories, parent-and-child options, recycling and support for school projects

Teaching approach

Activities are framed as play, allowing participants to learn while developing creativity, logic, concentration and social interaction. The studio cites a Guggenheim Museum program connecting exposure to art with stronger performance in literary subjects.
