Impregna is a Spanish company specializing in wood treatment and impregnation, with more than a century of operations. Its history dates to 1912, when it became Spain’s first company to use creosote treatment in the manufacture of railway sleepers. Over time, it expanded into infrastructure construction, forestry and agricultural solutions, and specialty machinery sales.

Business Lines

• Treated wooden railway sleepers: manufactures and supplies creosote-impregnated sleepers for railways, using oak, pine, and akoga wood from sustainably managed forests. The company supplies public and private rail operators such as ADIF, SNCF, and TMB in Europe and elsewhere.
• Machinery sales: for more than 30 years, Impregna has worked with French company RABAUD to sell specialty machines adaptable to tractors and construction equipment, including telehandlers, loaders, tractor-loaders, and excavators.
