Company History
Since its founding in 1985, Montealbo has expanded its handling and storage facilities and steadily increased exports. In the 1990s, it began trading within the European Union, primarily with Italy. From 2003 to 2007, it expanded with cold-storage rooms to preserve garlic throughout the year. Between 2013 and 2016, it entered markets including the United States, South Africa, Australia, Brazil, Taiwan, and elsewhere in Europe. Beginning in 2018, it added an organic product line and strengthened its presence in markets such as Japan, Haiti, and Canada.
