A livestock cooperative founded in 1979

SCL Agropienso is a cooperative founded in 1979 by a group of livestock farmers who chose to produce feed together rather than make it in their own mills. The company describes itself as the largest feed manufacturer in Aragon and one of the largest in Spain.

Feed manufacturing is its main activity, alongside several other business lines:

• Artificial insemination

Location

The plant is on Carretera N-240 at kilometer 128 in Esplús, Huesca. The original site was located beside National Route 240, two kilometers from the town center of Binéfar, in an area that spans the municipalities of Binéfar, Tamarite de Litera, and Esplús.
