Olive oil with roots in Jaén

Aceites Maeva produces and distributes extra-virgin olive oil. Its origins go back to a small mill established in Porcuna, Jaén, in 1930. Today the company operates as Aceites Maeva, S.L.U., a single-member limited company based in Escúzar, Granada.

Products

The company sells extra-virgin olive oil in several formats and varieties:

• Extra-virgin olive oil in 1-, 3-, and 5-liter containers.
• Organic extra-virgin olive oil in 1-, 3-, and 5-liter containers.
• 200-milliliter spray range, including wasabi, jalapeño, curry, truffle, garlic, and barbecue flavors, plus an organic version.
• Specialty formats: Maeva Toro in 250-, 500-, and 750-milliliter sizes; Maeva Bell 250 milliliters, made with Hojiblanca olives and a non-refillable cap; Maeva Primula in 250- and 500-milliliter sizes; and Patio de los Leones organic oil in a 250-milliliter amphora-style bottle.
• Maeva balsamic vinegar.

Quality and traceability

The company tracks each product from arrival to departure through a computerized system designed to show the history, location, and movement of any item or batch along the supply chain.

Production project

Aceites Maeva has developed a project to increase capacity in its bottling area by installing a new BOV line and improving existing processes, with the aim of raising both output and final-product quality.
