About Mecanizados Kanter, S.A.

Aerospace and Precision Machining

Mecanizados Kanter, S.A. has four decades of experience in precision machining for aerospace, defense, rail, research and development, specialized machinery, and oil and gas. It handles small and medium-sized components in short, medium, and long production runs where dimensional accuracy and traceability are essential.

The company supports projects from development and industrialization of new parts and prototypes through assembly of complete units or kits. It also manages subcontracted processes such as grinding, heat treatment, surface treatment, and painting so customers can receive finished parts ready for assembly. CAD/CAM programming uses GibbsCAM and Siemens NX.

Certifications and Quality

Kanter holds EN 9100:2018 aerospace certification, technically equivalent to AS9100D and JISQ9100:2016, issued by DNV under certificate number 176398-2015-AQ-IBE-ACCREDIA. The certification covers precision machining and assembly of aerospace components. It was issued May 19, 2024, and is valid through May 18, 2027. The company also holds ISO 9001:2015 under the same DNV certificate and has maintained continuous certification since May 19, 2009.
