About Biltron

Biltron is an electronics-engineering company based in Bilbao, Biscay. It serves customers throughout Spain and takes on international projects. Founded in 1988, it combines the distribution of professional instruments with the development of custom electronic solutions for businesses and institutions.

Engineering and services

The company has two main areas:

• Electronics engineering: circuit and electronic-system design and assembly; development of industrial equipment and prototypes; electronic integration for automation and control; PCB design; design optimization; and technical consulting.
• Instrumentation distribution: supply of measurement, soldering, and laboratory equipment from leading brands, with specialized technical support.

Biltron also maintains and upgrades electronic systems, offers turnkey manufacturing, and helps locate obsolete or discontinued products through its international network.

Brands

Biltron is the official distributor in Spain for Fluke, JBC Soldering, PCE Instruments, and MK Electrónica. Its relationship with Fluke dates to a distribution agreement signed in 1995.

Company history

Since its founding in 1988, Biltron has reached several milestones:

• 1991: moved to Bilbao.
• 1995: signed a distribution agreement with Fluke.
• 2005: moved to an industrial building in Asua, Erandio.
• 2017: established its Engineering and Design department.
• 2018: installed a robotic, intelligent warehouse.
• 2019: introduced turnkey manufacturing.
