Stainless steel and specialty alloys

Alinox is a Spanish company that distributes, processes, and provides technical guidance on stainless steel and nickel alloys. It began operating in 1970 and has more than 50 years of experience. It has three branches: Bilbao (Erandio, Bizkaia), Madrid (Arganda del Rey), and Seville (Carmona).

Products

• Superalloys: Monel, Inconel, Hastelloy, and Incoloy, as well as titanium and alloys with high resistance to corrosion and heat.
• Flat products: Cut-to-size coils and cold- and hot-rolled sheet, with plasma, waterjet, laser, or saw cutting.
• Stainless steel: Martensitic, ferritic, austenitic, heat-resistant, superaustenitic, duplex, and superduplex grades.
• Long products: Calibrated, turned, and turned-forged rounds; calibrated and rolled square and hexagonal bars; rolled flats and angles; H, T, and U profiles and beams; welded and seamless metric, ISO, and ASA tubes; structural tubes; and hollow bars.

Metal processing

• Polishing, satin finishing, and grinding from 40 to 600 grit, for sizes up to 20 × 2,500 × 10,000 mm.
• Bending up to 6,000 mm wide and 20 mm thick.
• Beveling up to 150 mm thick.
• Plasma, waterjet, laser, or saw cutting.

Large-scale 3D metal printing

Alinox has added large-scale metal additive manufacturing. It prints parts in various grades of stainless steel, nickel superalloys, titanium, aluminum, copper, and bimetallic materials, with build volumes up to 3,000 × 3,000 × 2,500 mm. Services include 3D development and engineering, 3D scanning and CAD conversion, part restoration and repair, and spare parts, as well as a WLMD system with robotic integration.
