Escoles Esportives Municipals El Verger

What the program is

Escoles Esportives Municipals, or EEM, is El Verger's municipal after-school sports program, managed by the Patronat Municipal d'Esports. Children and teenagers enroll by season, and limited spaces are assigned in registration order.

Sports and age divisions

The program includes soccer, introductory soccer, basketball, introductory basketball, Valencian pilota, padel, track and field, and multisport. Multisport options are arranged for age three, ages four to five and pre-benjamin participants, with combined programs pairing multisport with introductory soccer, basketball or Valencian pilota.

Age divisions vary by sport and run from introductory levels through cadet. Soccer, for example, lists introductory, pre-benjamin, benjamin, alevin mixed, infantil and cadet groups; basketball continues through cadet, while padel offers benjamin, alevin, infantil and cadet divisions.

Enrollment and payment

Registration for the 2026–2027 season runs from May 12 through August 31, 2026, in two phases: May–June and July–August. Registration completed in the first period receives a 5% discount.

Families can pay the full amount once or in two 50% installments due by August 31, although some sports require one payment. Applicants must have no outstanding balance with the municipal sports authority and must submit a current ID photo and both sides of an updated identity document as separate files. A place is lost if the full balance remains unpaid after the second period.
