RLC Transportes is an international freight company operating under the legal name Rau Load Cargo, S.L. Jorge Cerdán Chicote and Elia Martínez Granell founded the company in El Puig, Valencia, in 1993, initially transporting fruit and vegetables. Today it handles imports and exports of many types of goods, with a specialty in refrigerated transport.

Fleet and Operations

The company has a team of more than 100 people across seven branches and a fleet of 300 company-owned trucks, plus more than 180 vehicles dedicated exclusively to its operations. Its headquarters are in El Puig de Santa Maria, in Valencia province.

Cargo Monitoring

RLC tracks vehicle location, cargo condition, and trailer temperature in real time using GPS technology. Two probes installed in each vehicle report target, supply, and return temperatures for the refrigeration unit every minute.

• IFS Logistics and QS certification for food-product logistics, supporting traceability throughout the supply chain.
• AENOR certificate for Good Distribution Practice for human medicines, in accordance with European Commission guidelines.
