Turnkey tooling for aerospace manufacturing

Aeronáutica de Utillaje Internacional S.L., known as Aerointer, is based in El Puerto de Santa María in Cádiz province. It designs and manufactures aerospace tooling on a turnkey basis, handling complete projects for the production of assemblies and components for the aerospace and aviation industries.

Engineering and production capabilities

• Design: An in-house department develops tooling and 3D renderings.
• Manufacturing: Production and trimming of metal components, using equipment for processes from cutting through grinding.
• Composite trimming: Work on fiberglass and carbon-fiber parts, including process optimization studies that simulate thermal behavior to improve temperature distribution and reduce energy costs.
• On-site engineering: In addition to work at its own facilities, Aerointer sends engineers to customer sites.

Technical workforce

The company recruits technical staff, including Catia tooling designers and CNC milling operators—roles that reflect its focus on precision machining and computer-aided design.

European funding

Aerointer has received support from the European Union through the Andalusia ERDF Program 2021–2027 for the purchase of an industrial building, construction work, and machinery. It previously received funding through the Andalusia ERDF Operational Program 2014–2020, as part of the EU response to the COVID-19 pandemic (REACT-EU), to offset higher natural-gas and electricity costs.
