Pasapesca, S.A. specializes in the sale of frozen fish and seafood to professional customers. Its wholesale business serves food-service companies, frozen-food distributors, the hospitality and organized restaurant sectors (HORECA), and retail, including supermarkets, hypermarkets, cash-and-carry stores, and online sellers. In addition to Spain, the company serves customers in Europe and other international markets.

Company History

Pasapesca has more than five decades of experience. It began selling fish and seafood in bulk in 1975 at Barcelona’s Central Fish Market. During the 1980s, it expanded its facilities in El Prat de Llobregat and opened its production plant. From 1995 to 1999, it developed logistics, refrigerated storage, and customs services as an integrated logistics operator. In the 2000s, it strengthened its international supplier network and standardized quality and traceability processes. During the 2010s, it entered the retail channel with prepared and packaged products. In 2023, it consolidated its operations in Catalonia and began expanding across Spain, reaching five operating locations. In 2025, it expanded its production plant as it continued to build its national and international business.

Capacity and Product Range

The company has its own cold-storage facilities, with 30,000 m³ of frozen storage, and handles cross-docking through a logistics network designed for professional customers. It offers a broad product range, with raw materials sourced from five continents. Its assortment is organized into three lines: Retail, Cash, and FSV.
