Emilio Sánchez Academy

Tennis training with an academic pathway

Emilio Sánchez Academy operates two main locations: one in El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona, and another in Naples, Florida. Its approach combines athletic training with academics through its ES Academy 360 Tennis model and ES American School. The school offers planning and college placement support for players who want to continue their education in the U.S. system.

Programs for players and coaches

The academy offers year-round, weekly, and summer programs, with options based on age and playing level:

• Year-round programs: Tennis Top 6/11, Tennis + School, and Tour Prep for professional tournament preparation.
• Summer programs: Summer U12 and Summer Intensive.
• Weekly programs: Year Round, Weekly Holidays, and weekend stroke development.
• Adult programs: weekly, weekend, and one-day options.
• Padel programs: weekly and one-day options.
• Coach education: ES Academy Coaches and ICI courses.
• Holiday camps and family camps.

Recognition and expansion

The U.S. Tennis Association has recognized the academy for its methodology. The Emilio Sánchez Vicario Foundation received the “Fuera Pista” award from the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona-1899 for its work promoting social inclusion and equality through sports. Alumni include players who have reached No. 1 in the ATP rankings, including Andy Murray. The academy has also announced plans to expand its 360 model to Bangkok, Thailand, with a school expected to open in August 2027.
