Plasgen Materias Plásticas was founded in 1992 and manufactures flexible packaging for filling, wrapping, and palletizing products for transportation and storage across multiple sectors. Its business has three areas: industrial packaging and flexible packaging solutions, products that protect and improve agricultural processes, and specialty films for distribution.

Production Capacity and Facilities

The company reports annual production capacity of 21,000 metric tons and more than 18,000 m² of facilities combining extrusion, printing, converting, and a quality laboratory. Its headquarters are in El Mirador Industrial Park, 11, in Écija, Seville.

Products and Materials

Plasgen sells several lines of flexible materials under its own names:

These materials are used in primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging, as well as agricultural protection and distribution.

Certifications and Sustainability

Plasgen holds certifications covering quality, environmental management, product safety, occupational health and safety, and social responsibility. It also has a statement of compliance with European Union Regulation 2025/40 (PPWR) and says it incorporates circular-economy principles into its processes.

Recent Investments

The company has received support for modernization projects, including a SCADA control system and Industry 4.0 production in extrusion; an ERP system with dashboard and server; expanded ERP functions for CRM and an app; new coextrusion equipment; a new printing machine to increase production capacity; a new extrusion line; and automated raw-material feeding.
