About ACOLSA

An olive-oil group founded in 1985

Actividades Oleícolas S.A., or ACOLSA, was founded by two families with olive-oil experience. It specializes in refined olive-pomace oil and also makes extra-virgin olive oil and other products derived from olives.

Businesses and brands

  • Acolsa: a refinery making refined olive-pomace oil and related products and byproducts, with an emphasis on making use of materials throughout the olive-oil process.
  • Aseal: an olive mill that receives and presses olives to make different grades of olive oil, from extra virgin to byproducts.
  • Ad-Morum: an extra-virgin olive-oil label with its own mill in Navas de San Juan, Jaén, where the production process begins with selected olives.

History

The business began in 1985 to produce refined olive-pomace oil with consistent quality and a long shelf life. Over four decades it has expanded through changes in technology and production methods and entered international markets.
