Óptica Lago

What Óptica Lago is

Óptica Lago is a family-run optometry business established in 1988, with three centers in Coslada and San Fernando in the Madrid region. The practice says its consulting rooms use current visual-assessment equipment.

Services and specialisms

• Children’s optometry: visual assessment for children and help with applications for available public assistance
• Myopia management: individual assessment of spectacle, contact-lens and orthokeratology options
• Ortho-K: overnight rigid lenses intended to reshape the cornea temporarily; detailed assessment is offered at Los Valles in Coslada
• Visual health: comprehensive personalized sight tests
• Contact lenses and spectacle lenses: including products marketed for myopia management
• Sunglasses and filters: yellow- or orange-filter glasses advertised with a two-hour turnaround

In-house workshop

The business says its own workshop can produce prescription glasses in 12 hours and filtered glasses in two hours. Turnaround depends on prescription, lens type and stock and should be confirmed when ordering.

Payment and access

Interest- and fee-free financing is advertised for purchases from €59 for up to 12 months, subject to the lender’s current terms and approval. The Coslada center advertises two hours of free parking, and appointments can be booked.

Confirm the optometrist, examination, prescription, follow-up schedule, total price, finance agreement and suitability and risks of myopia-control or Ortho-K lenses before proceeding. Sudden vision loss, flashes, a curtain-like shadow or severe eye pain needs urgent medical assessment.
