Two Pharmacies near Barcelona

Farmacias Moreno Murillo is a family-run group with two pharmacy and orthotics locations in Baix Llobregat. Farmacia Cornellà is at 5 Calle Garrofer, in the San Ildefonso neighborhood of Cornellà de Llobregat; pharmacist Juan Pablo Moreno Murillo acquired it in 2009. Farmacia Hospitalet is at 161 Avinguda Prat de la Riba, in the Sant Josep neighborhood of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat; Raquel Moreno Murillo acquired it in 2005, although the original pharmacy dates to 1928.

Pharmacy Services

Both locations provide pharmacy care and medication follow-up, including prescription dispensing and advice on proper use. They offer a personalized medication-dosing service (SPD) at no charge, organizing medicines in blister packs by dose and schedule, as well as personalized home service subject to legal restrictions. They also measure blood pressure with a medical device.

In-House Lab and Additional Services

Farmacia Cornellà has its own laboratory for preparing custom compounded medications from prescriptions and noncommercially available officinal preparations. Both pharmacies also use Reflotron and Cobas blood-testing systems, which can provide indicators such as glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, ALT (GPT), creatinine, and uric acid within minutes from a drop of blood.

Other services include pressure-system ear piercing with hypoallergenic earrings for babies, children, and adults; custom earplugs; and Anita breast prostheses, with professional advice on fit, use, and care.
