What students study

The curriculum begins with philosophy across its historical periods and schools of thought, then moves into the Bible's Old and New Testaments, with particular attention to the Gospels and the Apostles' letters. It also covers Church history, the Church Fathers, and several areas of theology: fundamental theology, the Trinity, Christology, the sacraments, moral and liturgical theology, eschatology, Mariology, and catechetics, as well as canon law, marriage, and family.

Recent programs

The institute has offered courses sponsored by the Cathedral Chapter, including “Christ Between the Lines,” a guided reading and discussion of book excerpts led by Professor Adolfo Ariza Ariza. In February 2026, three students earned the degree Baccalaureatus in Scientiis Religiosis.

Administrative office visits require an appointment. The institute accepts questions by email and WhatsApp throughout the year.
