About Alberto de Paz

A Pianist Who Turns Music Into a Show

Alberto de Paz is a Córdoba-born pianist, composer, and performer whose work moves between concert, theater, and television. Trained at Córdoba’s Rafael Orozco Higher Conservatory of Music, he has accompanied major dance artists and the National Dance Company, and took part in the 1997 reopening of Madrid’s Teatro Real in a production of Manuel de Falla’s El sombrero de tres picos.

From the Stage to the Screen

De Paz has composed music for theater productions, including Cyrano de Bergerac and Novecento; the latter earned him a 2007 Max Award nomination for musical direction. He became widely known after finishing as runner-up on Got Talent España in 2016.

His own shows combine piano, improvisation, humor, and familiar music from film and television. He also performs at corporate and cultural events and teaches courses in musical improvisation and piano accompaniment for dance. The result is an entertainer whose work can shift from a formal stage performance to an interactive event built around the audience.
