José María Rodríguez de Castro, known professionally as Chema, holds a degree in psychology from the University of Salamanca. His work focuses on family therapy and the systemic model, with additional training in sexology and doctoral coursework. Over the course of his career, he has worked in several private practices and public family intervention programs in different Spanish regions.
Professional background
He began working in 1993 at the CENSIPAL practice in Palencia, where he stayed for six years. He later moved to Vigo, Málaga, and Palma de Mallorca, contributing to projects such as the Post-Adoption Service in Eastern Andalusia and the Balearic Islands. From 2006 to 2014, he was part of the Child and Family Service of the Consell de Mallorca. Starting in 2015, he worked in the Rumbo Family Preservation Program in the Canary Islands. Since 2020, he has lived in Chiclana, Cádiz, while continuing his private practice and training work.
