Global Preventium, S.L. is an external occupational safety and health provider. It has operated for more than 10 years from its headquarters in Ciudad Real and works with job sites across Spain. The company describes its approach as a modern prevention service, with on-site support and tailored training plans.

Services

• Workplace safety: developing safety plans for businesses, construction sites, and projects; advising on, designing, and preparing implementation plans and drills; preparing self-protection manuals and emergency and evacuation plans; inspecting facilities, machinery, and personal protective equipment under Royal Decree 1217/97; coordinating business activities under Royal Decree 171/2004; and investigating and analyzing accidents.
• Industrial hygiene: advising on controls for industrial-hygiene risks; indoor air quality; and assessments of workplace exposure to physical, chemical, and biological agents, including temperature, noise, vibration, lighting, and gases.
• Ergonomics and applied workplace psychology: ergonomic design and redesign of workstations; assessment of employees’ physical and mental workloads; workplace environmental conditions; screen-display monitoring; and organization of workspaces and tasks.
• Occupational medicine: job-specific protocols and medical exams tied to employees’ direct exposures; study and analysis of targeted health-monitoring results for epidemiological purposes; workplace health promotion; related training and information; investigation of occupational accidents and illnesses; collaboration with public-health authorities on workplace health; and preparation of health-surveillance plans.
• Training: in-person instruction at the workplace for employees, as required by Article 19 of Spain’s November 8, 1995 Occupational Risk Prevention Law.

Accreditation and coverage

Global Preventium holds the accreditation required by Spain’s Ministry of Labor and Ministry of Health to provide all occupational risk-prevention disciplines nationwide. The company says it provides occupational medicine and medical exams through its own specialized centers and partner health-surveillance centers at workplaces.
