Scouting in Cervera

AEiG Coll de les Savines is a scout and guide group based in Cervera, in the Segarra region. It is part of the network of groups affiliated with Minyons Escoltes i Guies de Catalunya and offers outdoor education for children and young people organized into age-based sections.

Sections and activities

The group organizes its programs into sections, each with its own contact email:

Activities include weekend outings and hikes around the Segarra region, with route-finding, learning about the local environment, and teamwork. For example, in March 2016, the Potes Tendres, Llops i Daines, and Pioners i Caravel·les sections went on outings and hikes in the region, staying overnight at facilities such as the community hall in Tarroja.

Events open to the public

The group also organizes events for the wider community. In May 2016, its “Cau al Carrer” event featured a children's walk, a regional paella contest, a scavenger hunt, and a communal meal. Meal tickets were available in advance at businesses in Cervera.
