Pharmaceutical Facilities and Cleanrooms

STE Group designs and builds facilities for the pharmaceutical industry and cleanrooms. The group began operating in 1980 with its first company and established its engineering division in 1985. Its headquarters are in the Vallès Technology Park in Cerdanyola del Vallès, Barcelona, in a 6,500-square-meter corporate building that houses central services, research and development, a showroom, a training center, and one of its production plants.

Engineering, Manufacturing, and Installation

The group organizes its work into three areas: design, manufacturing, and installation. Its companies can work independently or together, giving customers a single point of contact for a project.

• Design: Consulting, site master plans, pharmaceutical process engineering, facility layouts and personnel and material flows, and production technologies designed to meet GMP and FDA standards.
• Manufacturing: Doors and windows, framing, vertical, ceiling, and roll-up panels, pass-through boxes, protective equipment, and airlock benches.
• Installation: HVAC, compressed air, steam, purified water, electrical systems, fire protection, and cleanroom architecture.

The group includes two specialized businesses: STE Engipharm, focused on pharmaceutical engineering, and Sich Clean Rooms, dedicated to cleanroom architecture.

International Presence

STE Group reports operations in more than 20 countries and has subsidiaries in North Africa and Latin America. Its international expansion began in 2003 with subsidiaries in the Maghreb region—Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco—followed by Venezuela in 2010, Colombia in 2012, Peru in 2016, and the Southern Cone subsidiary in 2021.
