Colefruse Internacional S.A. is a Spanish family-owned company focused exclusively on almond processing and exports. It has operated since 1961 and is based in Caudete, Albacete, in eastern Spain, one of the country’s main almond-growing areas. Over more than six decades, it has grown from a traditional trading business into an industrial processor serving international markets.

Products

The catalog centers on almonds and almond products for industrial and professional customers:

• Blanched almonds, whole or in cut forms such as sliced and slivered almonds and other industrial cuts
• Roasted almonds, with controlled roasting for snacks, confectionery, and food formulations
• Roasted blanched almond paste

Customers

Colefruse supplies the food industry, turrón makers, bakeries, confectioners, and international exporters.

Facilities and capacity

The company has more than 16,000 square meters of facilities equipped with automated almond blanching, sorting, and processing systems. The company says these systems improve sorting precision and production capacity, help keep each lot uniform, and allow continuous temperature and humidity control.

Quality and certifications

Colefruse is certified to IFS Food version 8 under the unannounced audit program. The company says it applies controls at each production stage and follows international standards with full traceability.
