Pedro Díaz S.A. is a family-owned food wholesaler based in Cartagena, Murcia, specializing in cheese and dairy products. Pedro Díaz García founded the company in 1951; it is now led by the second generation, Pedro Díaz Sánchez.

History

The company began in 1951 in a small warehouse on Cartagena’s central Calle del Carmen, selling food products wholesale. In the 1960s, amid expectations that Spain might join the European Union, it specialized in importing food—especially dairy—and moved to a larger warehouse on Calle Carlos III, where it remained until the late 1970s. It later moved to its current location on Carretera de La Palma.
