Residential and Day Services for Older Adults

Fundació Residència Maranatha is a private nonprofit organization in Cardedeu, Barcelona, offering assisted living and adult day services for older adults. It has operated since 1978 and offers both privately funded places and places supported through the Government of Catalonia.

Services and Care

The organization covers a range of residents' care needs with a team that includes:

The center is at Carretera de Cànoves, Km. 2.5, Can Julià Gros s/n, in the Les Pungoles development, 08440 Cardedeu (Barcelona), on the foothills of Montseny. It has spacious, open areas in a natural setting.

Funding and Sustainability

The foundation received European Union funding through NextGenerationEU, under Spain's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, for a 77.52-kWp solar installation for self-consumption with surplus power. The project had a total investment of €75,605.76 and a grant of €17,635.80 through the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge's incentives for self-consumption and storage, administered by IDAE.
