J.J. BCN Internacional, S.A., based in Cardedeu, Barcelona, designs, manufactures, and sells electric and pneumatic actuators for valves and industrial automation systems. Its products are used in process automation, civil engineering, and renewable energy. The company operates under the internationally registered J+J® brand and describes itself as a manufacturer and international distributor, with a network of its own and authorized distributors in more than 70 countries.

History

The company was founded in 1998 by brothers J. and J.M. Chaves. Their experience in valve automation grew out of DITEICO S.L., founded in 1967 and regarded as a pioneer in the field; the founders spent more than three decades gaining industry experience there.

• Electric actuators: J4M multi-turn, J4C quarter-turn, J2 quarter-turn on/off, and RC quarter-turn on/off models
• Pneumatic actuators: Series A in hard-anodized, Teflon-coated, electroless-nickel, and stainless-steel finishes; Series C in hard-anodized finish
• Pneumatic accessories: limit-switch boxes, ATEX limit-switch boxes, couplings, and manual gearboxes
