Company History
The company's history dates to 1942, when it was established in Barcelona in connection with Lancia automobile representation and later bicycle manufacturing. In 1943, development began on the 65cc Moto Guzzi Hispania. Its first prototype left the factory in mid-1945, and the final version appeared in April 1946. By 1948, the company was exporting 15 to 20 units twice a month to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In 1972, ISA took control of the company, linking it to Seville. It then began selling products under the MH Motorhispania brand. In 1988, the Gallego family acquired the factory and equipped it with three assembly lines, reaching production of more than 16,000 units a year, 85% of them for export. In 2014, the second generation took over and began restructuring and developing new models, with development and manufacturing in other markets.
Dealer Network and Contact
The company offers a dealer locator that can search by city, address, or ZIP code, as well as a website contact form. Distributors have a separate login and an exclusive online store, and prospective dealers can submit a form to apply to become an authorized dealership.
