Caesa is a Spanish manufacturer of special steel profiles, with a production plant in Caldes de Montbui, Barcelona. The company says it has operated since 1946. It makes steel profiles to customers’ drawings and technical specifications rather than limiting its production to standard shapes.

Processes and capabilities

• Hot rolling: shaping steel at high temperatures through successive stands and tooling with different forms until the final profile is produced by reduction.
• Cold drawing and sizing: pulling steel through dies in one or more stages to achieve the required shape and tolerances.
• Other processes: shot blasting, bar cutting, calibrated tubing, and surface finishing such as tumbling to remove mill scale, rust, dirt, or burrs.

Caesa works with carbon, alloy, and non-alloy steel. It has an engineering team and an in-house quality-control laboratory and conducts product feasibility studies to confirm that specifications can be met.

The company holds ISO 14001 environmental certification and automotive-industry certifications ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, accredited by Bureau Veritas Quality International.
