About Ecobedous
Organic eggs from Can Piqué
Ecobedous is a small organic egg farm at Can Piqué in Cabrera d'Anoia, in Barcelona province’s Anoia region. The surroundings include woodland, farmland, vineyards, and olive groves, and the farm describes its production as local, or “kilometer zero.”
The farm holds organic certification from CCPAE (Consell Català de la Producció Agrària Ecològica), the Catalan body that certifies this type of production.
Products and how they are sold
Ecobedous produces organic eggs from laying hens. Along with direct sales, the company supplies stores, restaurants, and food-buying groups, and offers baskets through the Horta Lliure Eco initiative. It says it takes orders from retail outlets and buying groups that need to restock.
