Vivanco Cultura de Vino
A Briones wine destination bringing together a museum, guided winery tours, tastings, a vineyard-view restaurant, and a garden of grape varieties.
About Vivanco Cultura de Vino
Rioja wine told through history, art, and place
Vivanco Cultura de Vino turns a visit to Briones into more than a winery stop. The family project joins a working winery with the Vivanco Museum of Wine Culture, where six exhibition spaces trace wine through archaeology, technology, art, and everyday objects. The collection ranges from ancient artifacts to modern works, giving visitors a way to see how wine has shaped culture across thousands of years.
Outside the galleries, guided winery visits explain how Rioja wines are made and include a tasting. The experience can also extend to a panoramic restaurant overlooking the vineyards and a garden displaying more than 200 grape varieties. For travelers exploring La Rioja, Vivanco brings together the region's landscape and its wine history in one place, with enough variety to make the museum as central to the visit as the cellar.
