About Transpack Group

Cardboard Packaging Manufacturer

Transpack Group is a family-owned group of companies that makes cardboard packaging and operates in Spain and France. Its history dates to 1993, when Embalajes Ecológicos Transpack was founded as an early move toward cardboard and sustainability in the packaging industry. The group includes Transpack, Nedelec – Le Tube Carton, Medio Ambiente Pack, and Tubopack.

Products and Custom Packaging

The group manufactures a range of cardboard packaging for food and industrial uses and develops custom solutions rather than relying only on off-the-shelf catalogs.

  • Food packaging: Laminated solid board, cardboard baking molds, cardboard baskets, plates and trays, and single-face corrugated paper.
  • Industrial packaging: Corner protectors and U-shaped profiles, tubes and cores, cardboard rings, corrugated board, pallet separators, rolls of corrugated board, and custom cardboard boxes.

Its customers work in fields including pastry, textiles, gourmet foods, fireworks, furniture, graphic arts, metal, produce, and tapes and papers.

Certifications and Quality

  • ISO 9001: Quality-management systems at Embalajes Ecológicos Transpack, Medio Ambiente Pack, and Le Tube Carton-Nedelec are audited by SGS; Tubopack is audited annually by DNV Business Assurance.
  • FSC: Most of the paper used is recycled or sourced from well-managed forests.
  • BRCGS: Food packaging made by Medio Ambiente Pack meets food-quality and safety standards.
  • Carbon footprint: Medio Ambiente Pack is listed in the Ministry’s carbon-footprint registry, and the group has measured its operational carbon footprint since 2021.

Sustainability

Transpack Group uses recycled or responsibly sourced paper as its primary material and recycles paper and cardboard scraps back into production. Its design department reviews each project to optimize material use and recyclability, working with Itene. The company says careful packaging design can help reduce damage during shipping and storage and lower customers’ logistics issues.
