Support for local bookstores

Buc de Llibres actively advocates for small bookstores. It criticizes practices such as public tenders that exclude bookstores, direct sales to schools or libraries, illegal discounting, and market consolidation, arguing that these trends weaken the diversity of books available and the local cultural community. The bookstore encourages readers to shop at bookstores to help preserve a diverse and sustainable cultural ecosystem.
