About Salud y Nutrición
Recipes and practical nutrition information
Salud y Nutrición is a Spanish-language blog about cooking and healthy eating. It focuses on quick, easy recipes for everyday life, supplemented by food guides and informational articles about nutrition. Recipes are organized by main ingredient—meat, salads, eggs, legumes, pasta, fish, and vegetables—with dedicated sections for international and vegan food, meal replacements, and kitchen-equipment guides.
Who created the blog
The project was started by Lucía Conde and Marina Rubio, two friends who met while sharing an apartment as nursing students. Lucía Conde was born in Andújar, Jaén, in October 1991 and moved to Madrid at age 19 to study nursing. Marina Rubio was born in Plasencia, Extremadura, in late December 1992. They began cooking for themselves because they had little time and were eating poorly, and the blog grew out of that experience.
