Amics Joan Petit Nens amb Càncer Fundació is a nonprofit established in 2004, following work that began in Blanes in 2001. It supports people directly and indirectly affected by childhood cancer and works to share knowledge about the disease.
Community events
The foundation organizes fundraising and awareness initiatives throughout the year:
- Festa-Torneig Joan Petit, scheduled to hold its 26th edition in 2026 in El Vendrell.
- Festa dels Contes de Sant Joan, an event with more than two decades of history.
- La Nocturna in Malgrat de Mar, whose latest edition marks 15 years of charity walks.
- Jornada Solidària Joan Petit.
- Occasional events such as a charity yoga session in Comarruga, with a €12 donation that includes breakfast.
