Six areas of work
Alboan organizes its work around six main causes:
- Forced migration: Addressing displacement through justice, hospitality, and shared responsibility.
- Social and environmental justice: Supporting a transition to an inclusive, sustainable economy and society.
- The right to education: Working against barriers that prevent people from accessing education.
- Gender equity: Supporting women's empowerment and changing unequal conditions.
- Citizenship and participation: Treating participation as a right and responsibility beyond nationality.
- Emergency response: Coordinating with Entreculturas, another Jesuit international-development organization in Spain.
