Public infrastructure across Bizkaia

Azpiegiturak, S.A.M.P. is a public company owned by the Provincial Government of Bizkaia. It plans, builds, maintains, and manages public-use infrastructure across the historic territory, including care centers, housing, business and industrial land, entrepreneurship and coworking facilities, sports facilities, and other investments.

Areas of activity

• Care facilities: day centers, residential care homes, and residences with day centers for older adults, organized by municipality and facility type.
• Housing and related properties: homes, garages, storage units, and commercial spaces.
• Entrepreneurship and coworking: spaces for entrepreneurs and meeting-room reservations.
• Land development: industrial and residential land.
• Elkartegiak: a network of business centers and meeting and auditorium rentals in Arratzu, Bakio, Barakaldo, Bolueta, Boroa, Durango, Gernika, Getxo, Markina, Mungia, the Technology Park, Santurtzi, Sondika, Trapagaran, Urduña, and Zalla.
• Sports facilities: management of facilities such as Bizkaia Frontoia and Meaztegi Golf Course.
• Other projects and investments: business parks and industrial estates, including Arratiako Industrialdea, Bizkaia Sortaldeko Industrialdea, Burtzeña Enpresa Parkea, Busturialdeko Industrialdea, Ibaizabal Behekaldeko Industrialdea (IBISA), Sestao Bai, Urdulizko Industrialdea, and Urduñederra.

Recent projects and activity

The company has supported Bizkaia’s energy transition by installing 19 new solar systems on public buildings it manages. It has also announced auctions of lots at Sestao Bai Business Park, valued at €325,102.20 and €365,141.78 before tax, and offered used equipment from Meaztegi Golf Course in La Arboleda, Trapagaran, for sale.
