Técnicas Industriales en Decoración S.L. (TID) is an industrial company based in Berrioplano, Navarra. Since 1996, it has decorated parts and materials by applying liquid paint through industrial processes. It handles medium and large production runs as well as short runs using manual processes.

Markets and Customers

TID serves demanding industries including electrical, automotive, home appliances, and wind energy. The company manages many part references and finishes each day and works with customers and manufacturers to develop new colors.

Production Lines and Technologies

• Horizontal line with three booths and reciprocators, CO₂ cleaning, water-based and solvent-based coatings, and in-line flame treatment
• Two vertical lines: one with two booths and a six-axis robot, and one with a single painting booth and a six-axis robot. Both can coat both sides and use water-based or solvent-based products.
• Five manual booths for urgent work, samples, short runs, and new-color development
• Pretreatment and post-treatment systems, along with technologies for applying images to parts

Certifications and Environment

TID holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications from OCA CERT and a Bronze EcoVadis rating. Half of its production uses water-based products, and rooftop solar panels provide on-site electricity generation.

Grants and Research

The company has received grants from the Government of Navarra under programs running from 2019 to 2025, including support for investment by industrial small businesses, digital transformation, internationalization, and research and development projects such as AIROB (artificial intelligence and advanced robotics), PINRECAR, EMBLEMA, and ECOREC. Some projects received European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) co-funding.
