KIDE is a cooperative within the Mondragón Group that designs and manufactures complete refrigeration solutions. Its catalog includes modular and industrial cold rooms, insulated panels, refrigeration doors (including fire-rated, semi-insulated, and logistics doors), commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment, and curing and aging equipment for ham, cheese, and sausage. The company mainly serves refrigeration installers and distributors, while also handling turnkey projects for food production, distribution, hospitality, catering, dairy, meat, seafood, and beverage businesses, as well as other settings such as clean rooms and funeral facilities.

History and Capabilities

Founded in 1975, the company has more than 50 years of operations. Its development includes a focus on cold rooms in 1980, expansion into France and Portugal in 1985, a new door line in 1995, production facilities in China in 2007, and the launch of curing equipment in 2013. In 2021, it began a centralization and expansion plan in Berriatua, Biscay, and opened new facilities there in 2023. KIDE reports that its manufacturing is entirely European, that it operates across several continents, and that its delivery times are competitive in the market.
