About Tornillería DEBA Fasteners
Cold Forming for Complex Metal Parts
Founded in 1920, Tornillería DEBA Fasteners designs and manufactures complex, specialized technical parts using cold forming, also known as cold heading, cold forging, or progressive forging. The company initially focused on making screws under the CEVENTOR (CVT) brand. Today, it produces components for a wide range of applications beyond fastening.
The company serves demanding markets such as automotive, heavy vehicles, civil engineering, and rail. Its process progressively deforms steel wire at room temperature, allowing high production rates—up to 15 times those of conventional processes.
Capabilities and Technology
DEBA’s cold-forming process produces parts with minimal scrap, improved mechanical properties—with strength up to 20% higher due to the orientation of the grain—excellent dimensional stability, and a good surface finish. For highly complex parts with tight tolerances, the company supplements the process with additional machining.
The company operates an 8,800-square-meter facility opened in 2007, which expanded its capacity to adapt to market requirements and work more flexibly.
