Chemical and Tanker Transportation

Transportes Belda is a Spanish road-transportation company founded in 1928 by Antonio Belda Giner. Over time, the company and his sons specialized in tanker transportation of liquid chemicals, both hazardous and nonhazardous. In 1997, it joined Grupo Monfort to broaden its services across general freight, dry bulk, and liquid chemicals.

Fleet and Capabilities

Transportes Belda describes its fleet as environmentally friendly and innovative. It includes 45 Euro VI tractors and 75 liquid tankers, including single-compartment tankers up to 34 cubic meters, multicompartment tankers, and specialized high-temperature tankers. Real-time vehicle tracking provides location, weight, fuel-use, work-time, and driving-performance data, supporting prompt communication with drivers.

Safety and Certifications

The company says its entire fleet meets European environmental standards, including Euro VI. It has support vehicles, mechanics available 24 hours a day, and onboard safety equipment. Certifications include ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 39001, and SQAS.
