Clouding: VPS cloud servers with infrastructure in Spain

Clouding is a cloud computing service provider that markets virtual private servers (VPS) under an hourly billing model. Its proposal is based on its own data center located in Spain, with NVMe SSD storage and Linux or Windows operating systems. The company allows to create a configurable server in less than 30 seconds and offers €5 free balance when registering.

Flexible configuration and hourly billing

The Clouding platform is distinguished by not imposing pre-established plans: the user chooses the resources he needs and pays only for those he consumes. The catalog shows examples of configurations ranging from 1 GB of RAM, half vCore and 5 GB of SSD NVMe for 0.004 €/hour (maximum 3 €/month), up to 192 GB of RAM, 48 vCores and 100 GB of SSD NVMe for 0.506 €/hour (maximum 370 €/month). Invoicing is per hour and without monthly minimum, and includes 4 TB of monthly transfer; the additional traffic is charged at 0.004 €/GB or 4 €/TB.

Functions for server management

Clouding incorporates tools aimed at flexibility and continuity of hosted projects:

• Backups: configurable and restorable backup system.
• Snapshots: server snapshots to revert to an earlier state.
• Filed: possibility to archive the server when it is not used to reduce costs and reactivate it instantly.
• Resized: upward or downward adjustment of resources in seconds, as many times as necessary.
• Private network: VLAN dedicated to managing data with greater performance and security.
• API: connection of the software to the platform to exchange information and simplify tasks.

Infrastructure and data center

The service is based on a data center in Spain that the company presents as Tier IV, with 100% redundancy and 100% renewable power supply. The hardware includes high-end processors, SSD NVMe storage and fault-tolerant ECC RAM. At the software level, the platform uses the KVM hypervisor, a Ceph cluster with triple data replication, monitoring thousands of parameters and remote emergency console. The network is supported by CISCO infrastructure, 80Gbps anti-DDoS protection, low latency with multiple providers and a fixed public IP included with each server.

Images and applications available

The image catalog allows you to deploy the server with different versions of Linux or Windows, control panels such as Plesk or HestiaCP preinstalled (or install your own) and applications such as WordPress, Docker, Magento or Prestashop, among others. Access is always done with root permissions from the control panel.

Cloud Pros Service

Instead of the traditional managed VPS model, Clouding offers Cloud Pros service, in which its own technical team caters for specific needs: compilation of special versions of PHP, installation of complex software or cleaning and evaluation after a security incident. This service is billed in fractions of half an hour.
