Sports for people with cerebral injury

Federació Esportiva Catalana de Persones amb Lesió Cerebral (FECPC) promotes recreational and competitive sports for people with physical disabilities caused by cerebral injury in Catalonia. It organizes sports activity for this community and gives newcomers the opportunity to try different disciplines.

International competition

The federation takes part in and organizes international events. Barcelona has hosted the Para Swimming World Series for a second time, with 238 swimmers from 39 countries. Its calendar lists events including the 2026 World Boccia Championships in Seoul, the 2026 European Para Swimming Championships, the first Trofeu Internacional Ciutat de Barcelona in powerchair football, the Olbia 2026 World Boccia Challenger, and the 2026 Soccer World Cup.

Athlete services and volunteering

FECPC manages sports licenses and has a volunteer program. It also publishes competition results, standings, and official documents, and maintains a news blog.
