Rápido Padilla is a family-run business founded by a Colombian family, with two locations in Barcelona and Santa Coloma de Gramenet. Its services include shoe and leather goods repair, locksmith work, key cutting, and shutter repair.

Services

The shop's work is organized into four areas:

• Locksmith services: Key cutting, cylinder and lock replacement, emergency lockouts, and duplicate car keys and remote controls.
• Shoe repair: Soles, heels, heel tips, dyeing, vulcanizing, stitching, and restoration of shoes, bags, suitcases, and backpacks.
• Shutters: Shutter repair and replacement, including shafts, straps, and slats, as well as motorization.
• Other services: Watch batteries, knife sharpening, shoe cleaning, care products, and insoles.

How the shop works

We try to find a way to fix things you may have given up on: a pair of shoes left in the closet for two years, a suitcase with a broken wheel, a stuck shutter, or a lock that will not turn. In many cases, there is a way to repair an item for much less than the cost of replacing it. If there is not, we will tell you plainly. We believe in repairing before replacing, giving an honest diagnosis, and doing the work with skill rather than improvising.

A family trade

Our family has worked in shoe manufacturing for generations in Colombia. When we came to Spain, we continued that trade and opened Rápido Padilla. Over the years, we added services the neighborhood asked for: keys, locks, shutters, sharpening, and watch batteries. Today, we have two shops and still serve customers personally, hands-on.
